Adam Schmidt started Kendo in Dallas Texas at DFWKIK in 2008 and practiced there until 2014 when he moved to San Diego, California. In California he trained with San Diego Kendo Bu and UCSD Kendo. In 2022, he moved to Fort Collins, CO to be close to family and established the Fort Collins Kendo Club.
